DESTINATION REQUIREMENTS

The appropriate record.

Some authorities require specified certificate formats, product-can identifiers and retention of used cans. Australia and New Zealand also require formal operator arrangements. Supply your flight-support instructions when scheduling.

A pre-embarkation record documents that treatment. It does not certify that a separate residual or arrival-stage procedure has been performed.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

Prepare the
arrival document pack.

Agree the destination’s certificate format, any company declaration or affidavit, product label, safety data sheet and technical information needed for the flight. Record aerosol identifiers and retain used cans when required.

The crew completes the General Declaration using the treatment details provided. Keep the records with the flight documents for inspection on arrival.

VERIFY THE TREATMENT

Records that
identify the work.

The paperwork should let the arrival authority establish which aircraft was treated, when and where it happened, the method, the product and the applicator. Missing or unverifiable records can lead to additional arrival procedures.
